How We Earn Revenue

EuropeanStack is a free resource. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions — when you click a link to a product on our site and subsequently make a purchase or sign up, we may receive a referral fee from that company. This is a standard practice in the software review industry and is how we keep the directory running.

We want to be completely transparent about this. Here is how it works:

How Affiliate Links Work

• Some product pages include outbound links that pass through our affiliate tracking. These links use the /go/[product-slug] URL format and redirect to the product website with our affiliate identifier.
• When you use one of these links and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the product website — affiliate commissions are paid by the vendor, not by you.
• Not every product on EuropeanStack has an affiliate relationship. Many products are listed purely because they are excellent European software that deserves visibility.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

We make affiliate links easy to identify:

• Affiliate links use the /go/ URL path (e.g., europeanstack.com/go/product-name). Any link with this format is an affiliate link.
• Product pages with affiliate relationships display an affiliate disclosure notice near the call-to-action buttons.
• You can always visit a product directly by typing its URL into your browser instead of using our link.

Editorial Independence

Affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial content. This is a hard line for us. Specifically:

• Reviews are honest. Every product — whether it has an affiliate relationship or not — receives genuine pros and cons. We never omit criticisms to protect an affiliate relationship.
• Ratings are independent. Our rating system is applied consistently. A product with an affiliate link does not receive a higher score because of that relationship.
• Listings are merit-based. Products are included in the directory based on their European credentials and relevance to our readers, not because they offer affiliate commissions.
• We do not accept paid placements. You cannot pay to be featured, ranked higher, or receive a more favourable review.

EU Consumer Transparency

In accordance with EU consumer protection regulations and the Omnibus Directive, we disclose all commercial relationships that may influence the presentation of content on this site. Our affiliate relationships constitute a commercial interest, and we are transparent about this both here and on individual product pages where applicable.
