French AI-driven ITSM and digital workplace platform, owner of OTRS
Review by EuropeanStack EditorialUpdated Verified
EasyVista is a credible European ITSM platform with broader scope than most rivals, backed by French private equity and now the owner of OTRS. Its weaknesses are practical: opaque pricing, a hosting mix that includes US hyperscalers, a holding-level statutory loss in 2024 and an unclear plan for two overlapping product lines. For enterprises that already run a formal procurement and want a French ServiceNow alternative, it earns a place on the shortlist. Everyone else will find TOPdesk easier to evaluate.
EasyVista is a French IT service management vendor whose EV Platform combines the EV Service Manager help desk with discovery, remote support, observability and digital experience monitoring. Eurazeo took a majority stake in 2020, and EasyVista acquired the German OTRS group in December 2024. OTRS remains on sale as a separate product line. The legal entity dates from 1988.

EasyVista is a French IT service management platform for organisations that have outgrown a basic help desk but do not want a ServiceNow rollout. Typical buyers are IT departments weighing a switch away from ServiceNow, BMC or Ivanti and wanting a European vendor with a similar scope. The legal entity, EASYVISTA SAS, is registered in Noisy-le-Grand, east of Paris, under SIREN 347 848 947. Per the register, it was created in 1988, so we use 1988 as the founding year and make no separate claim about the brand's launch.
Ownership matters here. Eurazeo, a Paris private equity group, bought roughly 67.5% of the capital in 2020, valuing the whole company at around €131 million. EasyVista went private in early 2021, and Cathay Capital, also based in Paris, is a co-investor. The Dec 2024 press release confirms Eurazeo as majority shareholder. US and Canadian entities are subsidiaries, so no non-EU parent sits above the company. We classify the ownership as independent, with a private equity caveat.
The second chapter is OTRS. In December 2024, EasyVista closed on more than 90% of OTRS AG, the German service management vendor. By May 2025 its acquisition vehicle held 99.2%. OTRS was delisted from the Frankfurt market on 30 June 2025, and a squeeze-out was approved in November 2025. Merger filings were published between May and September 2026; completion was not confirmed at the time of review. Throughout, otrs.com still sells OTRS under its own brand. We treat them as two product lines under one owner.
The company said it was on track for more than €70 million in sales at the end of 2024, including OTRS, with half earned outside France. For headcount we use 201-500. The INSEE band for EasyVista SAS alone is 200-249, and a jobs aggregator puts the wider group near 400. If OTRS pushes the group past 500, that band will need an update.
The core is EV Service Manager, which covers the ITSM lifecycle from incidents and requests to change and assets. Configuration needs no code, according to EasyVista, and workflows are customisable. EasyVista says it was included in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Management Platforms (vendor claim; we could not access Gartner's report).
Where EasyVista differs from smaller European help desks is breadth. The platform adds EV Discovery for asset discovery and dependency mapping, plus EV Observe for infrastructure and application monitoring. EV Reach handles remote support and endpoint management. Workflow automation sits in EV Orchestrate, and EV DEM measures digital experience. The self-service portal is EV Self Help. Goverlan, a Florida remote administration tool bought in 2021, supplied part of the remote support story.
EV Pulse AI is the LLM layer, billed as bringing automation, prediction and conversation into service management. The sub-processor page names AWS Bedrock in France and the US, Mistral in the EEA and Konverso in the EU as generative AI providers. That is a useful detail for GDPR reviews, because you can see where the models run. It also confirms that part of the AI stack touches a US cloud.
OTRS adds an on-premise and managed option, a security incident response product called STORM, remote IT support and observability. EasyVista frames the deal as adding DACH reach and security tooling. It has published no segmentation between EV Service Manager and OTRS and no roadmap for merging them. That ambiguity is a risk for buyers: you may pick one product and later face a migration.
Its integration mechanism is what the vendor calls "sensors and affecters", alongside a REST API and webhook and eventing systems. EasyVista lists an EV Marketplace and packaged Easy Connect integrations; we could not gauge its size against ServiceNow's store. Integration depth is therefore something to test in a proof of concept.
EasyVista does not publish prices. The pricing page redirects to a form, and the vendor returns a quote based on modules and user counts. We cannot give you a per-agent figure and will not guess one.
This has consequences. You cannot compare cost before investing sales time, and negotiated pricing varies between customers. TOPdesk, by contrast, publishes plans from €61 to €120 per agent per month. The EasyVista pitch is that a unified platform reduces total cost of ownership, and the site claims a saving of over 50% against alternatives. That is a marketing figure, so ask for a three-year cost comparison against your current stack before accepting it.
Financially, EasyVista Holding SAS reported holding-level statutory revenue of about €47.9 million and a net loss of about €18.5 million in its 2024 accounts. Those accounts exclude OTRS, acquired in December 2024. A loss at a private equity portfolio company is not unusual, but multi-year contracts deserve the same diligence as any vendor with an acquisition-heavy strategy.
EasyVista states that the location of your services follows your contracting entity: "hosting services of an EU customer will be located in EU." That is a clear default for European buyers.
The sub-processor page, updated in April 2026, lists the infrastructure. It includes AWS in France, the UK, the US, Canada and Australia, and Azure in France and the US. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure appears in France and the US. OVH, Outscale and KDDI Telehouse operate in France, and Swisscom in Switzerland. For a sovereignty-minded buyer, the mix is both a strength and a weakness. French providers are available, but several options are US-owned hyperscalers, and the page does not say which one your tenant uses.
The sub-processor page does not mention ISO 27001, SOC 2, HDS or SecNumCloud, so we cannot confirm any certification. Ask for current reports during procurement. Do not assume that "EU hosting" means "no US cloud provider".
IT departments leaving ServiceNow who want a European vendor with comparable breadth in discovery, monitoring and service management. If your estate is large and heterogeneous, EasyVista is the closest European match in scope.
French and DACH enterprises that value local presence, French hosting options and, through OTRS, German market coverage.
Organisations that want one vendor for ITSM, discovery and remote support instead of integrating several tools.
Not ideal for buyers who need public pricing, self-serve onboarding or a small-team help desk. If you want transparent per-agent rates, choose TOPdesk. For a lightweight open-source ticketing tool, see Zammad in our customer support category. Our ServiceNow alternatives page lists the other options.

Yes. EASYVISTA SAS is registered in Noisy-le-Grand, near Paris, under SIREN 347 848 947. Its majority owner is Eurazeo, a Paris private equity group, with Cathay Capital, also Paris-based, as co-investor. US and Canadian entities are subsidiaries. No non-EU parent sits above the company.
Not publicly. The pricing page is a request form, and quotes depend on modules and user counts. If you need public per-agent rates to compare, TOPdesk lists €61, €86 and €120 a month. Expect to run a formal quote process with EasyVista.

Hosting follows the customer's contracting entity, according to EasyVista, so an EU customer is hosted in the EU. The sub-processor list names AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud (all US-owned) next to OVH, Outscale and KDDI Telehouse in France. Ask which provider and region your contract names. Mistral and Konverso are listed as EU generative AI sub-processors.
Yes, it targets the same ITSM and enterprise service management buyers with a no-code pitch. EasyVista says it was included in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Management Platforms (vendor claim; we could not access Gartner's report). ServiceNow has a far larger ecosystem and app store, while EasyVista offers EU ownership and an all-in-one platform. For public pricing, look at TOPdesk instead.
